As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has compiled data on the performance of the top virtual fitness apps on the iOS platform in Europe. Here's how these apps fared during this period.
JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit saw a decrease in both revenue and downloads over the quarter, starting with $257K in revenue and 156K downloads in the first week of January and ending with about $164K in revenue and 74K downloads by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trajectory, from 302K at the beginning of January to approximately 300K by the end of March.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a mixed trend. Revenue for Strava began at $665K in the first week of January, dipping in mid-quarter, but ended on a high note with around $707K in the last week of March. Downloads showed a slight dip from 94K in the first week to around 95K at the end of March, while active users saw a slight increase from 1.8M to 1.84M over the same period.
Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear Lite) maintained a consistent performance in terms of downloads, starting at 67K in the first week of January and ending with around 42K in the last week of March. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, starting at 136K and growing to around 145K by the end of the quarter.
LazyFit: Home Workout Planner showed a decline in both revenue and downloads throughout the quarter. It started with $20K in revenue and 74K downloads in the first week of January, decreasing to approximately $32K in revenue and 19K downloads by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 79K to around 103K during the quarter.
StepsApp Pedometer displayed relatively stable revenue throughout Q1, with a slight increase from $27K in the first week of January to around $36K by the end of March. Downloads remained fairly consistent, starting at 41K and ending with approximately 38K in the last week. Active users showed a slight decline, starting at 1M and reducing to around 929K over the course of the quarter.
